Sunswap Joins the Global Cold Chain Alliance, Strengthening European Expansion
We are delighted to announce our membership in the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA). This move aligns with our commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the cold chain sector and marks a step in our European expansion journey.
The GCCA, an international association representing all major industries engaged in temperature-controlled warehousing, logistics, and transportation, shares our vision of establishing a robust and sustainable cold chain. By joining forces with the GCCA, we gain access to a vast network of industry leaders, valuable resources, and opportunities for collaboration that will help us achieve our mission of transforming the transport refrigeration landscape.
Sunswap Joins the Global Cold Chain Alliance, Strengthening European Expansion
This membership comes on the heels of our successful UK trials and orders over the past two years, and our recent partnership with European-based TIP Group, a leading equipment services provider operating across 18 countries. TIP’s commitment to incorporating our award-winning solar-powered refrigeration technology, Endurance, into their trailers demonstrates the growing demand for sustainable solutions in the European market.
As Sunswap begin full-scale production in Spring 2024, our partnership with TIP Group and membership in the GCCA position Sunswap to cater to diverse fleets and varied operations in mainland Europe.
Joining the GCCA also allows us to engage more deeply with the industry, share our expertise, and learn from other leaders in the field. We look forward to participating in GCCA events and initiatives that foster growth, innovation, and best practices in the cold chain sector.
“Our European expansion is not just about business growth; it’s about driving positive change in the industry and contributing to a more sustainable future. By working with forward-thinking organisations like TIP and the GCCA, we are accelerating the shift towards zero-emission refrigerated transport and setting new standards for the cold chain.” Alastair Gough, Head of Business Development, Sunswap
