| West’s Wood Fair is an event featuring the many
interesting ways in which wood is used.
Our exhibitors include trade stands selling timber and many other wood-related products, demonstrations of sawmilling, pole lathes, and hurdle making. The exhibitors page will be regularly updated with details of this years confirmed exhibitors.
In the arena for the first time will be gundog displays twice a day by the Hamble and Hound Gundog Club. There will be the chainsaw race (Saturday & Sunday only) and pole climbing demonstrations. Joining us again on Saturday & Sunday are The Dorset Axemen, who’s displays contain all aspects of speed and accuracy chopping and crosscut sawing with razor sharp axes and saws.
For the first time we will have a Kids Corner where the Goodwood Education Trust will be running a forest school, and there will be lots of other activities for the children to do, from den building, a mud kitchen and face painting.
