Location: Home-based with frequent UK-wide travel

As a Key Accounts Manager, you'll be a pivotal part of this exciting transformation.

As a Key Account Manager, you will join our high-performing UK National Fleet Sales team, reporting to the Fleet Sales Director. Your role is to work with a portfolio of key strategic truck customers to achieve volume and gross profit targets through the fleet team and dealer network. You'll build strategic partnerships, secure customer satisfaction, establish service-level agreements, and drive stakeholders to maximize revenue streams. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Key Accounts Managers, Tenders, Fleet Service, and Transport Solutions teams, as well as the Electric Vehicle Team, to identify and implement improvements in various areas, manage all suppliers related to customer contracts, and engage in collaborative efforts to shape the future of our products and services.

Who Are You:

You are a proven sales manager with a track record in a Business-to-Business environment, ideally with experience working at the Board Level. You have a good level of commercial awareness, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to operate at all levels of the organization. Your relationship management skills and communication abilities are exceptional, and you're comfortable with formal presentations. Most importantly, you're eager to learn and passionate about our products and our mission.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with key customers to drive lifecycle earnings for Volvo and our service partners.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction results and establish service level agreements.
  • Lead and drive all stakeholders and departments to maximize revenue.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes, systems, people, performance, communications, and reporting.
  • Manage and coordinate all suppliers related to customer contracts.
  • Frequent UK-wide travel to meet with customers.
  • Achieve volume and gross profit targets.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with customers.
  • Secure high customer satisfaction results.
  • Establish service level agreements.
  • Identify and implement improvements.
  • Manage customer-related suppliers.
