Salary £21,000 p.a.

Location: Warwick
Hrs: 37.5 hrs per week

Job Summary:

To provide administration support to Regional South and East People and Culture team including collation and analysis of competence matrix for all employees, supporting dealers with co-ordination and organising of training activities, providing admin support around HR activities, in particular related to employee engagement activities

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Administration support to Head of HR &CD and Managers
  • Collation of competence matrix from all areas of the business
  • Support the creation of annual competence development plan in line with needs of the business
  • Produce competence gap reports
  • Co-ordination of training activities for colleagues, including sending reminders and supporting Dealers to arrange relevant training
  • Produce management reports on Competence Development in region
  • Publishing information on available courses, coordinating booking lists and notifications
  • Support logistics and coordinate all events including training: managing the master schedule, logistics, venues, materials, participants and communications for all events and training
  • Co-ordinate travel arrangements/hotels for new starters where required
  • Create and distribute communication material
  • Provision of KPIs and management information for HR and Competence Development
  • Provision of HR admin support at meetings, including taking notes
  • Administration on HR Systems
  • Work in accordance with Volvo Group UK standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care.
  • Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.

Key Skills / Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including advanced excel) and aptitude to learn new applications
  • Experience of gathering, consolidating and presenting data
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Highly organised, systematic in approach
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and in writing
  • Demonstrates appropriate assertiveness and confidence
  • Excellent attention to detail, calm and effective under pressure
  • Pragmatic, open approach
