A new and exciting role has been created within Renault Truck Commercials (based in Dunstable) reporting to the Head of Aftersales. This roles requires frequent travel and possible overnight stays to cover our depot locations, therefore a full UK driving licence is required. This role manages the overall Parts objectives and stock across the RTC UK Network and drive improvement throughout the parts business and grow our parts sales as well as increase contract sales through the management of the Aftersales Executives.
- To manage the Parts operation to ensure Sales and Financial targets are achieved.
- To organise and oversee the activity of the ASE’s and Parts staff to achieve action plans and budgets
- Manage parts margins and identify opportunities and drive improvements
- Manage Part returns to reduce financial risk of write off
- Analysis of obsolescence stock and manage appropriately to limit write off.
- Help depots to manage VOR Parts to limit vehicle downtime
- Manage 2 centrally located Parts Telesales Advisors to support depot parts teams and achieve sales targets
- Work in conjunction with RTUK to meet common goals
- Manage on-line Ecommerce system
About You
- Formal training/excellent understanding of stock management including obsolescence
- Past Performance in Retail Commercial Aftersales
- Technical knowledge desirable but not essential
- Extensive management knowledge and experience of Vehicle Parts – preferably HGV
- Broad generalist within functional area.
- Good understanding of the Vehicle retail business and environment and preferably within the area of Commercial Trucks.
- Good understanding of Parts logistics.
- Effective communication and understanding the needs of the customer.
- Demonstrate strong selling skills
