Job Description
Location: Taunton/Bridgwater
Salary: Basic £50k + Benefits including bonus scheme OTE IRO £58K
- Leadership & Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HGV service department. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of skilled technicians and support staff.
- Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of service delivery, maintaining efficiency and quality in all service operations.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements where necessary.
- Experience: HGV service management or a similar role. Franchise experience beneficial but not essential
- Education: Relevant technical qualification or degree in automotive engineering or a related field desirable but not essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HGV maintenance, repair procedures, and diagnostic systems.
