Back on the road again - MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd showcase Off-Road Performance, Durability and Innovation at their 2025 Lion's Off-Road Experience.
Leading commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd is back on the road, embarking on a three-week nationwide tour to showcase the off-road performance, durability, and innovation of its construction-focused range.

Designed to capture the eye of construction industry professionals and meet the needs of specialist’s off-road transport sectors, MAN is showcasing an array of vehicles from the rugged TGS 8x4, through to the nimble all-wheel drive TGE 4x4.
As a robust, dependable and easy-to-body chassis platform, the MAN TGS 8x4 sets itself apart from other vehicles due to its flexibility, superior off-road traction and chassis payload allowances. During the roadshow, customers have the opportunity to drive an array of TGS models, rated at 32 tonnes, including Tippers, Hook loaders, and Tipper Grabs. For many, it will be a first opportunity to test drive a TGS 8x4 fitted with a recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tipper body featuring an exoskeleton frame, designed by Goliath and built under licence by Meiller-Boweld.
The construction roadshow TGS’s all feature the same robust, efficient and powerful, MAN D26, 12.4 litre, 6 cylinder, Euro VI OBD-E engines, in either 440 PS, 480 PS or 540 PS (324 kW, 355 kW and 397 kW respectively).
The lighter and more compact TGM 4x2 offers construction-focused customers an easy-to-body, lightweight chassis suitable for a wide range of applications. Powered by MAN’s 250 PS (184 kW) D08 six-cylinder engine and plated at 18 tonnes GVW, the roadshow TGM features a Skiploader body built by Meiller-Boweld.
To meet the needs of customers seeking a 3.5-tonne all-wheel drive van, ideal as a service support vehicle or lighter off-road solution, MAN is also showcasing the TGE 3.200 4x4. Powered by MAN’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder Euro 6 bi-turbo diesel engine, this highly specified panel van with a 3,640 mm wheelbase delivers 200 PS (147 kW) through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Inside, it features all the luxuries a driver could want, including MAN Media Van Navigation Business with a 12.9” touchscreen, multifunction steering wheel, electronic parking brake with Auto-Hold, and Keyless Start, among many other premium features.
