In contrast to a typical 12-month truck warranty on ICE trucks, the Tevva Whole Vehicle Warranty guarantees your Battery Electric Truck for 3 years or 500,000 miles (800,000km) whichever comes sooner, with the option to extend for 2 more years.
High Voltage battery warranty included
This ensures the capacity of the battery stays above 70% of the original capacity for a period of 8 years or for a total of 500,000 miles (800,000 km), whichever comes sooner.
A bumper-to-bumper warranty
The ‘bumper to bumper’ warranty ensures all core systems on board electric trucks are guaranteed. Electric trucks may resemble a traditional ICE vehicle from the outside, but lift the bonnet and the technology onboard requires a re-think in terms of offering fleet managers security and peace of mind that they will be able to achieve the same vehicle uptimes.
The Tevva Vehicle warranties protect your vehicle from failures caused by material manufacturing defects including but not limited to the following:
- mechanical components
- electrical components
- non-mechanical or non-electrical components, for example the heater matrix, battery cooling system, radiator, alarm system, airbag system, and immobilizer
- embedded control systems
- black box items including high voltage (HV) batteries, battery management system (BMS), e-motors/transmission and power distribution unit (PDU);
- glider chassis
- working materials and top-up of fluids as a consequence of a warranty repair/replacement
- all panels and trims, internal and external
- interior items – (including, but not limited to) seats, buttons, handles, cup holders, seat belts, steering wheel, switchgear, carpets, dashboard; and
- glass items – windshield, windows and mirrors (stress fractures only)
