The double award underlines DAF’s position as Europe’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, with the judges praising the company’s consistent innovation, strong dealer network and outstanding customer support services.

Strong performance DAF XD series

The ‘Truck of the Year’ award is a testament to the excellent performance of the New Generation DAF XD range in both distribution and vocational applications. The series is the benchmark in terms of efficiency, driver comfort and safety, thanks to features such as the ultra-low window beltline for optimal direct view and the full suite of driver assistance systems. The XD is available in a wide range of chassis and cab variants and with both combustion engines and electric powertrains.

The ‘Truck Manufacturer of the Year’ accolade acknowledges DAF Trucks’ comprehensive and market-leading product range as well as of its extensive aftersales activities and dealer network.
