Hall of Fame: Paul Gratton's Scania 590 S V8

In love with his newest Scania, Paul says: “I’m very lucky to have my new V8. The colour’s amazing, who knew it was an official Scania colour. And the new engine and gearbox is something else. To top it all off, the boss man is happy with the fuel return.”

 

Having owned two S 500s and an S 730 V8 previously, his latest truck has left him in awe with the way it drives, adding that the gearbox is so smooth and the engine pulls as well as his 730 did.

While the truck is a stunner, it’s a grafter too. Paul will often find himself at building sites in all kinds of conditions, so there’s no better companion to tackle the unpredictability of a construction site and the British weather than with his new companion.

 

Away from work Paul has attended a number of truck shows, and collected several awards and commendations, including at last year’s TruckFest Peterborough. This year his sights are set further afield with Paul keen to show off his stunning V8 on the European truck show scene.
