MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd has recently achieved an impressive milestone - the sale of their 150,000th vehicle in the UK! To mark this impressive occasion, MAN Truck & Bus has sold this special build TGX Individual Lion S Tractor to Gateshead based Templeman Retailing & Vending Ltd. The truck, owned by family run business Templeman Retailing & Vending Ltd, features a custom built chassis infill and a one-off hand built catwalk. This catwalk carries the inspiring slogan “Work Hard - Play Harder” and the chassis fill and mudguards are colour coded to the Nardo Grey factory paint.
Adorned with a spectacular one-off livery, the luggage side of the cab features airbrushed Lion looking out into the distance, meanwhile the offside Lion boasts a menacing attitude with teeth bared. The front corner caps feature airbrushed claw marks to add to the exciting look of this truck!
The rear of the cab has been airbrushed with a huge Lion’s head and prominent St George’s and St Andrew’s flags. An impressive tailgate sits behind the rear axle with a custom-built one-piece mud flap carrying the TempleMAN logo sandwiched between two Union Jacks.
The inside of the voluminous TGE GX cab is just as luxurious as the exterior. It features hand-made mats with a special 150,000th design logo, a metal plaque, premium leather and alcantara seats with red diamond stitching, LED interior lighting, a 22” inch TV, climatronic air conditioning and a microwave and coffee maker.
The truck is powered by MAN’s latest generation Euro6E compliant, six-cylinder D26, 12.4 litre, 510 hp (375 kW) engine which offers improved fuel efficiency and lighter weight for improved payload efficiency, ultimately reducing the fleet total cost of ownership (TCO) and vehicle whole life performance.
This is a truly remarkable truck, made all the more special by the fact that it is the 150,000th vehicle sold in the UK by MAN Truck & Bus. This outstanding truck will be sure to catch the eye of any passer-by, and stands as an impressive landmark of MAN’s success within the UK market.
