The release adds more than 600 new pre-defined test scenarios to our Special Groups library, enabling customers to significantly increase the efficiency of testing.

Our software suite includes everything needed to simplify and automate the creation, set-up, variation and execution of industry-standard ADAS tests. Sophisticated synchronisation between driving robots and target platforms makes it easy to run challenging scenarios, and the ability to review pass/fail results immediately after test runs further aids efficiency.

The new additions to our Special Groups test library include all the ADAS test scenarios for Euro NCAP's latest Heavy Vehicles scenarios, such as the challenging Heavy Goods Bicycle Nearside Turn Across Path (HBNTAP) test. The update also covers FMVSS 127, which has the highest speed requirements in the industry (90 mph). To help protect valuable test assets during such high-speed tests we have incorporated customisable abort procedures to stop or mitigate any unplanned contact.

Further enhancements include OpenDrive file compatibility in Scenario Generator and a new network-based system update feature that allows large fleets of AB Dynamics test equipment to be updated in bulk through the Track Applications Manager. The 2025a update also includes the latest version of our Ground Traffic Control (GTC) software, which is a comprehensive platform for managing, controlling, and monitoring all proving ground test traffic. It is now available in two versions: GTC Core for simple ADAS testing and GTC Pro for advanced use, such as durability and mileage accumulation testing. GTC seamlessly integrates with other our track applications to create a complete ecosystem for managing ADAS platforms and test vehicles. For more information, click here.
