ENDURACE RD HDRegional Drive Tyre with 25% Higher Casing Strength
No distance is too long and no challenge is too tough. Ride through every tide and terrain with the toughened casing design and reinvented, bold block pattern of ENDURACE RD HD. Apollo Tyres has added the EnduRace RD HD drive tyre and EnduRace RT HD+Revealed at IAA Transportation and designed to offer good durability, both tyres exceed the European standard by 150% and 170%, respectively. The tyres are said to be built around a robust internal structure to increase retreading potential.
Available from October, the EnduRace RD HD is suitable for 22.5-inch rims in sizes 295/80, 315/70, and 315/80. This product has a ‘B’ rating for wet performance thanks to its tread pattern which helps to disperse water quickly. The tyre’s footprint is optimised for even pressure distribution to enhance traction. The EnduRace RD HD has a three-peak mountain snowflake designation meaning it should offer good traction characteristics even in wintery conditions. Road noise for this tyre is rated at ‘B’.
The EnduRace RT HD+ has been launched in size 385/65 R22.5. Designed with heavy-duty applications in mind, the tyre has wide shoulders and uses a scrub-resistant compound to improve abrasion resistance and promote an even wear pattern. The trailer tyre has a ‘K’ speed rating which means it can travel up to 68mph (110km/h). The EnduRace RT HD+ has a ‘B’ rating for wet performance and an ‘A’ rating for road noise.

Earlier this year, Apollo Tyres added sizes 295/80 and 315/80 for 22.5-inch rims to its EnduRace RA 2 truck tyre range. This second generation tyre line offers improved rolling resistance, lower noise and better traction.
