SDC President completes 3-day Bike Ride Raising £4,150 for John Eastwood Hospice

The ride wasn’t just a personal challenge; it was a heartfelt tribute to Paul’s dear friend, John, who was lovingly cared for by the hospice in his final days. Motivated by the compassion and support the hospice extended to John and his family, Paul took on the journey with one mission in mind: to give something meaningful back.

Covering hundreds of kilometres over three days, Paul cycled through rolling hills and sun-soaked countryside – enduring heat, steep climbs and long hours in the saddle.

John Eastwood Hospice based in Mansfield provides vital palliative care and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Their work touches so many lives and Paul’s fundraising will contribute directly to continuing that compassionate care.
