Why EcoVadis matters to our customers

EcoVadis assessments evaluate companies across four key areas, using internationally recognised standards such as the UN Global Compact, GRI and ISO 26000.

For transport and logistics operators, these ratings increasingly influence supplier selection and tenders, ESG reporting and compliance, financing discussions, and confidence in long-term partnerships.

Our latest Silver rating reflects tangible progress across these areas. This year, we committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and started putting it into action, with a clear goal to cut our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% over the next decade. We strengthened our supplier engagement to support supply-chain decarbonisation, introduced a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion framework, and issued a Group-wide Anti-Fraud Framework to further reinforce governance.

From ambition to action

Since our first EcoVadis assessment in 2021, TIP Group has increased its score from 32 to 71, reflecting steady progress from ambition to action.

This includes:

  • Advancing lower-emission and energy-efficient fleet solutions through real-world pilots
  • Extending asset life through refurbishment and circular use of equipment
  • Strengthening our approach to responsible sourcing and supplier engagement
  • Continuing to build a culture focused on ethics, safety and inclusion

EcoVadis also provides a clear roadmap for where we can go further, from improving reporting clarity to strengthening governance processes. We see that feedback as an essential part of continuous improvement, helping ensure sustainability at TIP is embedded in how we operate, not treated as a standalone initiative.

Aligned with Strategy 2030

This milestone supports TIP Group’s Strategy 2030, which focuses on delivering a seamless customer experience while helping operators navigate a more complex landscape, from sustainability requirements to fleet optimisation and capital efficiency.

Our role is not to dictate one path, but to help customers find solutions that work for their operations today, while preparing for what’s next. “This is what we mean by 'seamless'; making sure the transition is practical, efficient, and aligned with real operational demands." says TIP Group CEO, Arjen Kraaij.

Silver again, and still moving forward

We see this recognition as encouragement; sustainability, like fleet management, is about continuous improvement, practical choices and long-term thinking.

We thank our customers and partners for the trust they place in us, and we remain committed to turning sustainability goals into real, workable solutions that support performance on the road and resilience for the future.
