While TSL monitors weight distribution when dispatching equipment, load-out can create a unique challenge. Returning equipment in different flight cases and vehicles can make it harder to assess transportation safety. With Axtec’s OnBoard Load Indicator, our drivers have improved access to immediate weight data and can be confident that each vehicle remains road-legal.

Another reason for implementing this system across our vehicle fleet is to assist us in moving towards becoming accredited by the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). 

FORS measures fleet performance across fuel efficiency, carbon emissions and road safety.

With the FORS accreditation, our drivers will commit to higher standards by completing market-leading training and adopting safer working practices. This will lead to a well-maintained fleet and proper compliance across the department.

The Axtec OnBoard Load Indicator features a simple traffic light system, displayed on an easy-to-read screen, allowing our drivers and dispatch team to quickly assess load safety.
