On display were over 100 trucks including  Vintage,  Custom and Modern - all cleaned and polished to a very high standard - with the aim of impressing the judges and winning one of the prestigious trophies which were kindly sponsored by Bandvulc Tyres, Webber Transport, Gregory Transport, Greenaway and Greenaway, Malcolm Drew Ltd and Thompson Transport.  Stocks  & Sons Haulage Contractors also provided perpetual trophies for the Best Tipper and Best Block Lorry in show in memory of Hondary Stocks.

There were plenty of trade stands, refreshments, fairground rides, animal attractions and a truck  pull by "Dave  the Shed" which kept the whole family entertained.

Camping was available on site  which enabled everyone to make good use of the beer tent and disco on Saturday night.  A performance by The Cornish Wurzells was very well received.  

There was a constant stream of visitors throughout the whole weekend, proving that a Truck Show in Cornwall was well overdue.   It was also a good opportunity for local hauliers to  meet and enjoy a relaxed and sociable weekend.

All in all it was a huge success and as well as everyone having a great time, it managed to  raise £3000 for The  Precious Lives Appeal.   There was  such positive feedback immediately following the weekend that Tony went straight ahead and booked for 2011.

The show has continued to grow, in 2016 we had around 280 truck entries.  We are well and truly on the truck show map and we hope to be able to attract  more lorries from further afield.  We are  a very friendly show and everyone will be made to feel very welcome so please come along and join us.​
