National Vinatge Tractor Road Run 2023
Happy Easter Weekend.
This weekend is the National Vintage Tractor Rally being held by Glenluce Vintage Tractors.
This is a prestige event and the Club are honoured to be able to hold the event with exhibitors travelling from all over the UK and Ireland to take part in the run on Sunday.
There are expected to be over 300 exhibitors attending with a wide array of vintage and classic tractors.
We have been nominated as one of the Charities to benefit from funds raised from the event.
The weather is looking good and it looks like it will be an amazing sight to see the classic workhorses taking to the road on Sunday in the Stranraer area.
On a Farming theme as well we have received a donation of £2000 from Dumfries and Galloway Young Farmers.
These are the Farmers of our future who have raised funds for us, in a number of events over the last year, which included a stock judging competition at Dumfries Auction Mart.
It was great to be able to go along and meet them at their AGM on Sunday and present them with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of DGBB.
Thank you to the Young Farmers for their amazing donation and also to Glenluce Vintage Tractors for their on going support.
