The rally started some years ago when a group of local farmers and ‘tractor boys’ got together over a weekend to show off their vintage farm vehicles and steam engines. Money raised that weekend was donated to a local charity and because a good time was had by all, arrangements were made for a repeat rally the following year. Since then the Bolnhurst Vintage & Country Fayre has gone from strength to strength. It has grown to include vintage cars/heavy goods vehicles and static displays together with various local craft stalls. Entertainment has been laid on every year in the main arena, including tractor games and various displays.

BVAC Classic 2025, 8th June – save the date!

We’re very pleased to announce that the 2025 BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring will return to Thirlestane Castle on Sunday 08 June. 

This year’s event, which celebrated 60 years of the iconic Ford Mustang, was deemed a great success, with record breaking attendance and amazing feedback from our visitors.

Welcome to our 2025 Annual Vintage Show at Oswestry Showground on June 14th and 15th! Join us for an exciting weekend filled with a diverse range of, including steam engines, vintage cars, motorcycles, and much more. Enjoy indoor craft stalls, outdoor trade stalls, a husky dog sled show, and activities for children, along with delicious food and drink options. Tickets are available at the gate just £10 for, while children under 16 enter for FREE (accompanied by an adult).

Get ready to relive history and experience the power of vintage machinery at the Abbey Hill Steam Rally. Held at the picturesque Yeovil Showground, surrounded by the rolling hills of Dorset, this annual event takes place over the May Day bank holiday weekend, from Friday 03 to Monday 06 May. It offers a unique opportunity to admire a long line of beautifully restored steam engines and explore rows of vintage tractors and vehicles dating back to the early 20th century. The sound of the steam whistles and the sight of these majestic machines in motion will transport you back in time.

The Commercial Vehicles Show is the must-attend event for anyone in road transport, freight, distribution, and logistics. This year, we’re raising the bar with over 300 top brands, hands-on product demos, and exclusive sessions led by industry experts. Networking will be at the heart of the show, fostering real conversations and valuable connections.

The British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) returns to Brands Hatch for its opening rounds of the 2025 season with two days of thundering Indy Circuit action on Easter weekend.

Five BTRC races will headline the weekend, with two scheduled on Saturday ahead of a triple-header on the Sunday. A busy support programme will feature too, including action from an eclectic mix of BARC championships, so spectators will have plenty to enjoy across the whole event.
