DRIVE IT DAY SCOTLAND - Sunday 28th April 2024

The 12th edition of our popular Drive It Day event takes place on Sunday 28th April 2024.

Drive It Day 2024 offers you the opportunity to blow the cobwebs off your vintage, veteran, classic, sports, prestige or modern performance car after it's long winter hibernation and kick of the 2024 season with a fabulous one day event driving on some of Scotland's finest roads. 

Drive It Day Description

Barley Saturday has since the 19th Century, been held on the last Saturday in April – it is an unique event in Cardigan. Barley Saturday saw farmers from surrounding area come to town to hire workers and to inspect stallions that are put out to stud.

These days the horses are the centre of attention. After the 11.30am, judging of various horse competitions, the crowds gather to watch the horses do their parade around the Cardigan at approximately 2pm.

The Grampian Truckshow is back again for 2024

This will be the 3rd year running and we are hoping we continue to take a great event for all to the North east of scotland

Again this year we will have a great selection of trucks, carnivals & tradestands.
