About the role
A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as an Accounts Assistant at our site in Nursling.This role would ideally suit someone who is currently working in or has worked in a finance department and now looking to utilise their skills across all areas of the accounting function. Your previous experience may be in credit control, purchase ledger, bookkeeping or similar.Salary: Up to £28,600 per annum, this is dependent on experience and qualifications.Hours:Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minute lunch (unpaid).Can be flexible for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Sales ledger, credit control, monitoring shared inbox, sending copy invoices and statements.Following up debtor queries with the after sales departments and Managers.Posting bank transactions.Process New Account applications and review customer credit limits.Support the cashiering function when required.Support the purchase ledger function when required.Ideally, we are looking for:Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.Confidence to handle queries face to face, over the telephone and via email.Capable of prioritising workload.Previous use of Keyloop Autoline would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given.Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential.Strong administrative and organisational skills.Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.In return we’ll offer:Employee Assistance programMental Health First Aiders within the businessFree Flu jabs if you are ineligible through the NHSFree eye test plus £70 contribution towards glasses for display screen usersEmployee discounts on a range of products and services including holidays, days out and supermarket shops30 days holiday including Bank Holidays rising by 1 day every 5 years capped at 33Free Independent mortgage advice servicePension SchemeSalary Sacrifice (if eligible)Staff EventsFree parkingCycle To Work SchemeCompetitive SalariesCareer development pathways and trainingQuarterly Star Awards Adams Morey is a part of the Greenhous Group which holds a position as one of the leading independent commercial enterprises in the UK.
