Accounts Assistant - Nursling, SouthamptonHours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (would consider part time 25/30 hours)Salary: up to £28,000 DOE (pro-rata if part time)A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Accounts Assistant at our site in Nursling, Southampton. This is a varied role supporting our central Accounts team and our customers.What you’ll be doing:Posting and allocation of customer payments.Reconciling unallocated paymentsAmending/monitoring credit limitsMonitor general & personal email boxes and attend to in a timely mannerDealing with customer queries via email and phoneSending out monthly customer statementsSending copy invoicesCredit controlSetting up new customer accounts in line with company procedure.Other ad hoc dutiesWhat we need from you:Previous experience in a similar role is preferableFamiliarity with accounting systems within previous work experience (ideally Autoline)Knowledge of Excel and WordEffective communicatorAttention to detailIn return we’ll offer:22 days holiday + Bank holidays, increases with length of serviceCompetitive employer pensionCareer development opportunities£2000 Referral bonus for successful introduction of fellow technicians Adams Morey is a part of the Greenhous Group which holds a position as one of the leading independent commercial enterprises in the UK.
