Adams Morey is offering the opportunity for a motivated individual to join the team at our site in Saltash but moving to our new site in Plymouth in spring 2025 as an HGV Technician Apprentice.Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThis is an entry level role offering on-the-job training which is supported by the official DAF apprenticeship training programme. This programme is a three-year IMI Level 3 diploma in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, managed by Skillnet, DAF’s appointed training management agent.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS· The right attitude and willingness to learn.· An interest in the motor industry.· Ability to complete assignments within timescales given.· Team player.HOURS OF WORK:· Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
