About the role
Car Transporter DriverClickNDrive are recruiting for a reliable and skilled 7.5 tonne driver to join our growing team to carry out trailered vehicle movements throughout the UK.As a 7.5 tonne driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of new and used vehicles using an Iveco Daily + a trailer. This role requires someone who is committed to safe driving practices and adherence to all traffic regulations.Salary - £33,000 + performance related bonuses providing you with the opportunity to earn up to £36,000 (further details will be provided at interview stage.)Responsibilities of the 7.5 tonne driverDeliver new and used vehicles to customers throughout the UKConduct daily vehicle inspections and log any defectsCommunicate effectively with your assigned planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delaysAdhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportationReport any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately2-3 nights out per weekQualificationsValid driver’s licence with a clean driving recordFull CPC and Digi Tachograph cardProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving roleStrong knowledge of traffic laws and regulationsExcellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectivelyStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenA commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of drivingJob Type: Full-timePay: £33,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person Our operation team follows a tried and tested procedure for all driven vehicle deliveries. We monitor all jobs from the moment they are registered with our admin team, all the way through to delivery. We are fully in control to deliver and give you peace of mind. Our professional trade plate drivers collect and deliver vehicles nationwide on a daily basis. We provide our drivers to wear corporate uniforms and carry identification. All of our drivers have the latest Smart Pod technology to appraise vehicles accurately and professionally. From the moment our driver takes possession of your vehicle until we complete the delivery, we will monitor the whole process to ensure safe and efficient transit.
