About the role
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of new and used vehicles using either an Iveco Daily 7.5T + Trailer or a Mitsubishi L200 + Trailer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations, ensuring timely deliveries.ResponsibilitiesDeliver new and used vehicles to customers throughout the UKConduct daily vehicle inspection and log any defectsCommunicate effectively with planners and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation.Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.2-3 Nights out per weekQualificationsValid driver's licence with a clean driving recordFull CPC and Digi tachograph cardProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role.Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of driving.BenefitsCompetitive salary package of £33500 - £36400 per annum23 Days holiday + Bank holidaysOpportunities for career progression within the companyCompany pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication question(s): Are you happy to have nights out away from homeExperience: Driving: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification: Driving Licence C1E (required)Work Location: On the road
