Job Description
Car Transporter Driver
We are looking for a reliable and professional Car Transporter Driver to join our growing team, driving a 5.2ton Iveco Daily & Trailer. This role involves working predominantly on corporate vehicle deliveries, representing the company while providing a high standard of service to business clients and dealerships.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you take pride in your driving, presentation, and customer service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections before and after transport
- Complete digital inspection sheets and handover documentation
- Conduct professional face-to-face customer handovers
- Represent the company positively when dealing with customers and dealerships
- Plan routes effectively and adapt to changing situations
- Ensure full compliance with driver hours regulations and the Working Time Directive
- Occasional night outs may be required - in accomodation
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with C+E or C1 + E
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous vehicle transport or similar driving experience preferred
- Well-presented with strong customer service skills
- Good attention to detail and care when handling vehicles
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems independently
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- No driving endorsements
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role
