Hi everyone, Lindy here, Transport Manager at Browns Distribution. We’re on the lookout for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our fantastic general haulage team in Stoke-on-Trent!

We’ve got a good variety of work, a modern fleet, and customers who value the effort our drivers put in every day.

My focus is simple — I want all drivers treated fairly and to enjoy the work they are doing, we have a great team of drivers and office staff.

What’s in it for you

Our Class 1 role is Monday to Friday going anywhere in the country with occasional nights out, and you’ll have your own truck! We run Scania, MAN, and Mercedes vehicles, and we keep them in great shape with our own in-house workshop.

One thing we’re big on at Browns, is treating our drivers with respect. You’ll always have someone to speak to, whether it’s me, the office team, or our dedicated Driver Training Manager. We cover your LGV medicals and card renewals, and we’ve got discounted gym membership too, if that’s your thing.

Training and growth

If you want to keep learning, we’ll support you. We run our own in-house training, fund your CPC, and cover all licence admin fees.

Browns is a great place to build your career. Recently, one of our drivers progressed into the transport office, bringing valuable on the road experience with him. We’ve also had agency drivers choose to join us full time because of the opportunities and support we provide.
