About the role
Commercial and Demo Driver Trainer | IVECOWe are currently seeking to recruit a Commercial and Demo Driver Trainer at Iveco in Winsford.The successful candidate will be dependable and customer-focused. This role uniquely combines safe and efficient product delivery with providing training and education to customers and dealer sales teams across the UK and ROI. You will confidently deliver engaging, high-quality training on the full range of IVECO commercial vehicles (3.5t and above, including alternative fuel vehicles). They will ensure both the dealer network’s sales force and customer drivers are confident, knowledgeable, and equipped to get the best from IVECO products.This position requires not only excellent driving skills but also strong communication and presentation abilities to explain technical information clearly and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver driver and product training for the full range of IVECO vehicles to dealer sales forces, driver trainers, and customers.Provide bespoke training packages to support customer product delivery and implementation.Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Lines to create and refine product training programs.Develop driver training content tailored to specific applications and industry needs.Produce training materials, including guides, tutorials, and videos, focusing on key vehicle features (safety systems, operating systems, telematics, fuel efficiency).Assist customers in deploying and integrating IVECO vehicles into their operations.Support infrastructure development and implementation for alternative fuel and specialist vehicles.Ensure dealer staff are fully equipped to deliver professional, high-quality handovers to customers.About YouExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to simplify and explain technical information clearly.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.Punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.Technical, commercial, or aftersales knowledge (an advantage).Valid C+E licence with clean driving record.Strong understanding of the transport industry and commercial vehicles (3.5t and above).Previous experience as a driver, trainer, or in a customer-facing role (preferred).Knowledge of telematics systems and vehicle technologies.Our Calex Core ValuesWe are looking for an individual who aligns with our company core values:Caring & SupportiveOpen & HonestWelcoming & InclusiveCollaborative & InspiringEnjoyable & RewardingFlexible & AdaptableAccountable & ReliableHealthy & SustainableTo apply, please provide a full and up to date copy of your CV together with a covering letter detailing the skills that make you suitable for this role.Salary & Benefits: £45,000 dependant on experience, 25 Days Annual Leave, Calex Employee Benefits Packages (Inc Private GP and Healthcare Services, High Street Discounts, Discounted Gym Memberships and on Demand 24 Hour Wellbeing Service (Counselling and Advice), Life Assurance, Pension, optional private Healthcare cover.Contract: Permanent / Full TimeWorking Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per weekPlace of Work: IVECO Academy, Winsford, CW7 3QPPre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with all successful candidate.
