Salary: £19,800
Location: Warwick
12-Month Placement (1st July 2024- 11th July 2025)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
Degree Requirements:
- Studying for a Business/Management or related degree.
- With 2 years completed, placement between 2nd & 3rd study years.
- Academic grades are on track for a first or 2:1.
Join Volvo Financial Services (VFS), the captive finance company within the Volvo Group. VFS provides financial services for Truck, Bus, Coach, and construction equipment within Volvo Group UK. As part of a global and diverse team, you will work with energy, passion, and respect to deliver expert financial solutions, including finance and insurance, supporting Volvo Group's sales.
As a Commercial Business Support Intern, you will report to the Business Manager. You will provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers. You must liaise with customers and the dealer network, ensuring legal compliance, and processing payments. You will manage assets and customers through the lifecycle of agreements, gaining exposure to all teams within the Operations department.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with customers and dealers.
- Review and maintain accuracy of information.
- Monitor key business controls daily.
- Produce reports for internal and external customers.
- Lead and participate in projects.
- Support and assist other team members.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by your manager.
Who Are You:
You are a team player with high attention to detail, reliability, and adaptability. You possess advanced communication and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in Office 365 and proficient in written/spoken English. You are willing to learn, develop, and contribute quickly, demonstrating independence in your work.
