Job Description
- To undertake all duties of a commercial vehicle technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance and installation of components in accordance with the experience, training given and to the standards and quality of Mercedes-Benz.
- Maintain a well organised service 24-hour vehicle, for ease and use for other workshop staff if required.
- Basic hours of 46 per week; 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Weekend rota on call: week on, week off.
- Responsible for yourself, your van and breakdown case management.
- Current employee averages 20 breakdowns per week @ £30 call out fees.
About You
- Ability to work independently in high pressure situations
- Trained at Truck Systems at Diagnostic Level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as customer service
