Commercial Vehicle Painter/Paint Sprayer - RedbridgeSalary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience plus overtime at time and a halfHours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Commercial Vehicle Painter/Paint Sprayer at our Redbridge, Southampton site.What you’ll be doing:Pre-paint preparation, preparing vehicles to be painted by hand or machinePriming painting and lacqueringRectification of cosmetic defectsCo-operate and assist other personnel in the repair and preparation of vehiclesRepair to manufacturer standardsPainting damaged vehicles that have been repaired to a high standardBe conversant in the up-to-date water-based paints systemsMix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct colour matchApply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coatsTouch up paintwork and apply polish to vehiclesRemove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintworkTreat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.Paint spraying the entire vehicleWorking in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas.What we need from you:Knowledge of blending paintwork essentialPrevious body shop and vehicle paint sprayer experience is essentialMust be comfortable in a painting environmentMust be reliable, conscientious and hardworking.Good attention to detail and a high regard for customer care.A team player & strong communicator who is able to take responsibility for the quality and quantity of work they undertake.It is also essential that you hold a current and valid driving license.In return we’ll offer:22 days holiday + Bank holidays, increases with length of serviceCompetitive employer pensionCareer development opportunities£2000 Referral bonus for successful introduction of fellow technicians Adams Morey is a part of the Greenhous Group which holds a position as one of the leading independent commercial enterprises in the UK.
