Job Title: Vehicle Services TechnicianLocation: Belfast Bakery (BT12 6LP)Shifts: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 2pmSo, what’s it all about?As our next vehicle services technician, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of commercial fleet of varied makes and models including 16TDaf, Iveco Daily 7.2T. You will be keen to comply with company and road safety standards, and you will maintain all vehicles to a high standard. You will play an active role ensuring that the delivery of great quality bread products to our customers is possible.You will be responsible for the below:Carrying our routine maintenance and safety inspectionsMOT preparation of vehiclesTail lift servicing and repairBody work maintenance and repair including shutter doorsVehicle diagnostics (Texa system)Covering control of Vehicle Service Unit Phone when needed.This list is only an example of the tasks you may have to undertake, and you will be expected to work with the Vehicle Services team to meet all appropriate KPIs.To excel in this role, you'll need to be adaptable and resilient. You will need to be able to find effective solutions and tackle problems using logical and systematic options. You will be happy to take on new challenges and continuously learn about areas within the vehicle services department.The Key Requirements...Level 3 HGV Technician QualificationHGV Class C Driving License3 years experience in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicle fleetsVehicle diagnostic experience.We’ll provide you with opportunities to learn new skills, grow and develop and we aim to provide our colleagues with a job for life!
