Job Description
- Checking customer’s credit worthiness and approving or denying credit account requests.
- Actively contacting customers and building good relationships to ensure payment is received within the company payment terms.
- Escalating unresolved queries to bring to a resolution.
- Meeting deadlines for producing dunning letters.
- Starting legal proceedings where necessary.
- Month end reporting tasks and production of financial information relating to debtors.
- Responsibility for debtor and creditor intercompany accounts.
- Working with an e-ticketing system.
- Assisting with the quarterly VAT return.
- Other adhoc tasks as well as deputising for other team members in their absence.
About you
- A higher level of Accounting or Credit Control Qualification or qualified by experience.
- CICM qualification would be favourable. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a credit control role.
- Ability to work independently to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
