Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Retention Executive to join our Mercedes-Benz of Preston dealership. You will assist in providing a high-quality service for our customers and gain great exposure to our brand by reporting directly to the Divisional Head of Aftersales. This role is offered on a full time and permanent basis.

What experience do I need?

If you are an individual with strong experience in a customer facing position and a real focus and drive for hitting targets and selling, we would welcome your application. We believe in recruiting for the attitude and training for the skills. The key attributes that we would look for are:

  • Influencing skills, with the ability and confidence to convert enquires into Bookings
  • Providing excellent customer service to maximise customer retention
  • Fantastic listening skills to understand customer requirements and needs
  • Attention to detail when using multiple systems
  • A willingness to learn and develop your product knowledge
  • Professionalism, with a commitment to adhere to process and procedure

What will I do on a daily basis?

As a Customer Retention Executive, you will be representing both Marshall and our Mercedes-Benz division.

  • Answer all incoming calls from customers wanting to book vehicles in for service/MOT/repair
  • Assisting the needs of the customer
  • Maximising Workshop bookings through objection handling/meeting customer requests
  • Building positive relationships with customers
  • Capturing customer detail, GDPR preferences
  • Sales through customer service

Is training provided?

We invest in you and your career from day one, we believe in the importance of developing our people, the more knowledge and confidence you have the more likely you will be to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service they deserve. Training will take place in our dealership both 121, then mentored over the course of a month, you will be able to see and use our live systems as well as overseeing the full customer After Sales journey beginning to end so you understand the importance of the role you play.
