About the role
Experienced Commercial BodybuilderAs a Commercial Bodybuilder, you will be responsible for fabrication, assembly, and modification of vehicle bodies to meet customer specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and precise measurement skills. Some welding and fabrication skills are preferred, but not essential, and the use of hand and power tools is essential.Constructing and assembling most rigid commercial vehicle body types.Cutting, shaping, welding, and fabricating metal(s), GRP, PER, PLY and other materials using various fixings and bonding.Installing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.Ensuring all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.Collaborating with the team to complete projects efficiently and on time.✔ Proven experience as a Commercial Bodybuilder or in a similar role.✔ Welding (MIG) and fabrication skills (preferred but not essential).✔ Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems (preferred but not essential).✔A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality work.✔ Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).Benefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingPrivate dental insurancePrivate medical insuranceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to £16.75 per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekWork Location: In personReference ID: JULY 25Expected start date: 04/08/2025 Bodywork Solutions is a leading manufacturer of high-quality commercial vehicle bodies.
