Join Our Team at VanCare!Position Overview:Our Company VanCare is seeking skilled technicians with outstanding customer service skills to join our Mobile Fleet Team in the Newcastle area. As a Mobile Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for on-site service repair and maintenance of Mercedes Sprinter, Iveco Daily and Ford Transit vans, we also do other makes and models. We also work on Paneltex & Solomon box bodies.This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and the ideal candidate does need to have flexibility to suit customer needs.Key Responsibilities:Conducting on-site repairs to fleets of vans at depots in the NewcastleHandling repairs on Paneltex and Solomon bodiesCarrying out services and service repair work on vansMust be able to do brakes, diagnostic reads, mechanical repairs and body repairsProviding excellent customer service during customer calls and on-site interactionsWorking independently and proactively to address repair needsUtilising company-provided equipment including a fleet support vehicle, company phone, riveter, grinder, and diagnostic equipmentMust have experience working on vansWorking Hours:10pm - 6am, with overtime available and sometimes required after these hours. You must be flexible with your start and finish times to ensure customer needs are met.Overtime compensated at an enhanced rateOne on, one off weekend rota appliesQualifications & Skills Required:Level 2 or above Light Commercial Maintenance certification or equivalentFull UK Driving LicenseAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiativeStrong customer service skills with experience in customer calls and on-site communicationFlexible availability to accommodate out-of-hours workBenefits:Competitive salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00+ per yearOvertime paid at an enhanced rateCompany-provided equipmentOne on, one off weekend rotaPension scheme28 days annual leaveFurther details will be provided during the interview process.
