About the role
We currently have an interesting position as a Gatehouse Attendant / Yard Person in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Leicester.As a Gatehouse Attendant / Yard Person, we can offer you:An hourly rate of £11.4422 days paid holiday (plus statutory) rising to 25 days with serviceEmployee Of The Month CompetitionCareer progression opportunitiesDeath in service life insurance schemeCycle to work schemePensionFree ParkingThe Gatehouse Attendant / Yard Person responsibilities include (but not limited to):Supervision of the gate, ensuring the barrier is attended at all times.Checking vehicles and people in and out.Ensuring yard premises and parking compound are secured at the end of shift.The maintenance/general upkeep of the yard area and related facilities.Supervise waste disposal.Dispense fuel and ad-blue as required.Clean and valet vehicles as requested.Handle a variety of general forecourt requirements.Working Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 6pm. Saturday mornings (as required) 8am – Midday.Who are we looking for as our Gatehouse Attendant / Yard Person:Previous experience in a similar Gatehouse Attendant role would be preferred but not essential.You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Be a customer focused individual with a professional approach and attitude.The ability to work alone and as part of a team.A Class 1 licence would be beneficial but a Full valid UK driving licence is essential.Apply today to start your journey with Ford & SlaterNo agencies please.
