About the role
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for professional and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern. Pay & Shift DetailsShift Pattern: 4 on/4 off (Nights)Average Shift Length: 48 hours avergage per block of 4 (calculated over a 26-week reference period). Hours may vary from day to day due to the nature of the business.Basic Salary: £35,126 per annumEquivalent to £193 per shiftBased on 3.5 shifts per week / 182 shifts per yearPerformance Bonus:Graded driver performance bonus (Grade A–D) worth up to £2,400 per annumThe RoleGeneral haulage workSafe, timely and professional delivery of goodsProviding excellent customer service at all timesAccurate and clear communication with the Transport teamUsing the latest driver technology, including:Electronic POD devicesElectronic walkaround check systemsFull training is provided on all systems and processes.What We OfferModern, well-maintained fleet (predominantly MAN, Scania, DAF & Iveco)Funded CPC trainingTraining and development opportunities including:ADRDriver AssessorFLT licencesWorkplace pensionFull PPE and uniform provided20 days annual leaveRecently refurbished on-site facilitiesFree on-site parkingWhat We’re Looking ForFull HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceValid CPC qualificationValid Digital Tachograph cardGood understanding of Tachograph and WTD regulationsReliable, punctual and flexible approach to workStrong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused attitudePrevious Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential.Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.We have an experienced team of Driver Assessors and Mentors who provide full training and ongoing support to help you build your career.If you’re looking to join a stable, growing company that values its drivers and invests in its people, we would love to hear from you.
