In this role, you will undertake all duties of a Commercial Vehicle Technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance and installation of components in accordance with the experience, and training given and to the standards and quality of Mercedes-Benz.

Hours of work

8 hour working day half hour unpaid meal break.
Ability to work alternating shift pattern:
Week 1 07:00- 15:30 Saturday 07:00 to 13:00 (46 hours)
Week 2 15:30 – midnight (40 hours)
Call out as per company rota

Are you the right person for the job?

The following criteria are essential for this role

· Completed a recognised vehicle apprenticeship
· Motor vehicle mechanic/technician experience
· Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
· At least one year's experience as a truck/van technician with general vehicle repairs
· Able to work under own initiative and part of a team
· Carrying out PMI’s, MOT preparations, servicing of HGV/LGV
· Fault finding and diagnosis
