About the role
As an HGV Technician we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:Experienced knowledgeAbility to run Diagnostics and repairsConduct Safety InspectionsRun Routine MaintenanceA General mechanical abilityAn Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible individual.Duties to include:· Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation)· Prompt Repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard· Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators License guidelines· Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner· Have an ability to work on their own initiative· Prep & Presentation for VOSA tests· Preventative Maintenance· Fault Diagnostics· All associated paperworkBenefits to Include:Complimentary PPE28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)Workplace Pension SchemeSupport of a friendly team as part of a family-run businessFree on site parkingExcellent training and development opportunitiesThe position is on a salaried basis, the salary will be dependent upon experience but an ideal candidate can expect an starting Salary of £46,410.00 and the potential to boost this £55,876.00Hours to be discussed during interview process.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £21.00-£31.50 per hourExpected hours: 42.5 – 50 per weekExperience: Heavy Goods Vehicles & Construction Plant Mechanics: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification: Driving License (preferred)Work Location: In personSchedule:Monday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availability WSH Logistics Limited are currently looking to recruit HGV Mechanic/Trailer Fitter. We are a well-established family run business, specialising in the general Haulage around the UK. Recently we have become an approved repairer for IVECO and have opened a 5 bay state of the art modern workshop. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the on-going repair and maintenance to our fleet of vehicles, trailers and third party maintenance.
