HGV Service Driver/Workshop Support - Hayes £15.17 per hour Monday to Friday - 0600hrs to 1630hrs (1/2 hr unpaid lunch) Volvo Truck and Bus Centre Hayes are currently looking to recruit a Service Driver/Workshop Support to join their team covering Monday to Friday on day shift. What you will doWe’ll need you to:To carry out driving duties as instructed by the Service Controller, to include presentation of vehicles for MOT including a full range of HGV including loaded trailers, LGV, PSV and both customer owned, service and sales vehicles requiring collection and delivery, road test following repair.Assist with brake tests in workshopWorkshop safety checksTo provide support to the parts department when required in delivering parts to customers.To ensure the service department, workshop facilities and yard areas are kept clean and tidy to the audit standards required, and other areas as and when instructed.To carry out routine gardening and building maintenance of surrounding areas of the site, to undertake minor repairs to workshop, offices and equipment as instructed by the Dealer Point Manager, Service Controller or Shift Supervisor. Who are you?To apply for this role you’ll hold a HGV and possibly a PSV Licence, will have excellent customer service skills.
