Job Description
The Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures within standard times set.
Qualified HGV Technician
Duties will include:
- Vehicle inspection
- General servicing
- Fault diagnosis
- Repair of vehicle defects
- Road test vehicles
- MOT preparation/presentation.
- Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty required.
- Completion of all required paperwork accurately
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent).
- Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.
- Have a full driving licence.
- Ideally possess a commercial licence – class 1 or 2 but not essential.
- Have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment.
- Be competent in the use of IT systems.
- Have a flexible approach to work commitments.
