About the role
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of an established automotive company based in the area of Hassocks. This position will be for a HGV Technician with a minimum of 3 years prior experience as a fitter.As a technician, you will be expected to work on our client's fleet of vehicles, covering all forms of repair, inspection and servicing.The fleet ranges from cars and light vans to 44 tonne HGVs which include Renault, Volvo, Iveco, Mitsubushi and Mercedes Benz.The work is varied and challenging both in types of vehicles and types of faults that are dealt with. Quality of repair is important, as is the ability to produce work within agreed time limits.Hours of workMonday to Friday 0800 to 1800 (includes 30 minutes unpaid break time)This role is temporary cover for approximately 6 weeks but could lead to more work.PayThe client have a pay rate range of £16 - £22 per hour depending on experience, and relevant industry certifications.If you are available and interested, please call Joe at The Best Connection (Worthing)Benefits & Requirements:Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)How to achieve higher pay rate:Relevant Qualifications or CertificatesAll vacancies are available and correct at the time of posting.
