HGV Technician Nights -£18-£22 Per hourWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Depot in WolverhamptonShifts Available: Night shift 4 on 4 offResponsible for the maintenance and repair of fleet vehiclesCarrying out road testsPerforming emergency road repairsRoutine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standardsDiagnoses of vehicles utilising computer based diagnostic equipmentCarry out scheduled fleet maintenance tasksPreparation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspectionsCarry out re-chassis work and light fabricationCandidates should be able to demonstrate:Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlinesAbility to actively seek solutions to problemsAbility to work as part of a teamGood verbal communication skillsExcellent customer care skillsHigh level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repairAwareness and understanding of health and safety requirementsPrevious experience would be requiredIndustry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering (all modules completed) – Heavy Vehicle QualificationPrevious working experience as a HGV technician with a strong technical background, as well as a keen interest in vanJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £18.00-£22.00 per hourBenefits:Company pensionSchedule:12 hour shiftWork Location: In person Midlands Truck & Van is the approved Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Commercial vehicle dealer representing the West Midlands & Shropshire areas with dealerships located in Birmingham, Coventry & Wolverhampton.
