Our Cardiff Dealership requires a fully qualified HGV Technician to join us to undertake servicing, repair, and warranty work for our Renault Truck Cardiff customers.Paying up to £19.50 pr hr (40 hours) with time and a half for Saturday mornings. You could be earning c£44,500 a year.Why work for us: https://www.renaulttruckcommercials.co.uk/careers/why-work-for-us/What you will be doing.....Working a 40 hour 'week about' shift pattern: 06.00-14.30 and 14.00-22.30 with alternate Saturday mornings.Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s proceduresWorking to the highest standards surpassing manufacturer’s and VOSA standardsFast and accurate fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipmentParticipating in the ‘out of hours’ standby/call out rotasLiaison with Parts Department to ensure correct parts are issued to enable job to be completed efficiently and within set timescalesAll aspects of ISO, H&S and Environmental regulations are adhered to including the use of Personal Protective EquipmentFollowing company processes by completing all relevant paperworkCompleting thorough safety checks and preparing vehicles for MOTsEnsuring product knowledge and skills are maintained, kept updated and in line with company requirementsAttendance at training courses when identified and as required.The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:Excellent diagnostic skillsProven technical qualifications or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehiclesDriving licence (HGV Class 1 would be an advantage, not essential).Good team playerAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work on own initiativeProblem solving skillsWhat we offer:40 hrs a week + overtime + call out25 days holiday (rising with service)Pension schemeHealthcare SchemeEmployee discounts across retailers, cinemas, ++++Cycle to work schemeWith a renewed product range and growing profile, we rely on quality people to provide ‘excellence’ in service and support to customers by always looking to improve customer satisfaction.
