HGV Technician (Mercedes-Benz)Rygor Auto, Heathrow TruckBasic £36,000-£38,000 DOE. Overtime paid at time and a half37.5 hours (various shifts available)Your RoleIf you are looking to work with the UK's largest Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealership, which has been announced as a Great Place to Work for three years running, look no further!Rygor Auto are looking for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join their brilliant team at their Mercedes-Benz dealership in Heathrow. As an HGV Technician, your role will be to keep your customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service of the highest quality.️Day to day, you will be:Performing major and minor repairs to Mercedes-Benz trucks.Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.Maintaining inventory in the workshop and ensuring cleanliness from oil spills and dust.Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales.Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:Qualification - You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus, will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
