About the role

HGV TechnicianLocation: Inverness, GB, IV1 1SUPosition Type: ProfessionalAs part of our team at Volvo you will work as part of an experienced and friendly team with the offer of a fantastic basic salary plus the opportunity for overtime and a quarterly bonus.Do you want to join one of the automotive industry’s leading names? Would our fantastic rotational shift pattern (day shift/back shift) help your work-life balance?Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?What you will doThe Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsiblyAssist in the fault diagnosis processService Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)Assist with roadside breakdowns.Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accuratelyEnsure all vehicle defects are reportedKeep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintainedHelp us in supporting the development of trainees and apprenticesWhat’s in it for you?Alongside your salary we can also offer you some fantastic employee benefits.
