About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy Preston-based operation on a permanent night shift.The role involves carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles including DAF, Iveco, Scania, Volvo and other leading manufacturers.Key Responsibilities:Routine servicing and inspections:DAF, IVECOs, SCANIA, VOLVOsFault finding and diagnosticsMechanical and electrical repairsPreventative maintenanceEnsuring all work meets safety and compliance standardsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience working on heavy commercial vehiclesStrong diagnostic and repair skillsAbility to work independently on night shiftReliable, professional and safety focusedThis is a solid opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician looking for stable night work with consistent hours and earning potential.Job Details£19.50 per hour50 hours per week (10-hour night shifts)Tuesday Night – Saturday MorningFlexible shift patterns available (discussed at interview)
