What you will doAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join the the Renault Truck Commercials Network - RTC in Faversham, KentThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.Main Duties:Shifts: - 40 hour weekHourly rate is up to £21 pr hr negotiableEarly Shift 06:00 - 14:30 | Late Shift 13:30 - 22:00Alternate Saturday's 06.00-12.00Extra payments for Saturday mornings, Standby and Call OutResponsibilities summary:Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process MapsEnsure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specificationsProvide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutionsEnsure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policyEnsure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicingKnowledge:Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industryGood knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.The application of Standard TimesKnowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the roleAn appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their businessTechnical product knowledgeRequired CompetencesCity and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology - HGV or LCVTo be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completedTo be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcomeTo be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutionsBasic knowledge of Microsoft OutlookBenefits:25 days rising with service.Pension schemeHealthcare SchemeEmployee discounts across retailers, cinemas, ++++Cycle to work schemeAssistance in gaining a Class 1 & 2 Licence if applicableRenault Truck Commercials is an Equal Opportunities EmployerWe value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.
