What will you doWe’ll need you to:Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures, safely and responsiblyEnsure repairs are carried out in accordance with Volvo Standard Times using Volvo Special Tools where appropriateAssist in the fault diagnosis processComply with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty material on completion of each repairWork with the Parts Team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fittedRoad test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV licence)Assist with roadside breakdownsEnsure company time recording procedures are complied with, and that job cards are completed accuratelyEnsure service sheets are completed as per Volvo instructionsEnsure all vehicle defects are reported to workshop controllersKeep all workshop facilities, equipment and tools clean, tidy and well maintainedWear personal protective equipment when appropriateSupport the development of young trainees and apprentices Who are you?Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry and enjoy getting your hands dirty?Apply now and join us, one of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers and benefit from a joining bonus of £1,000 (on completion of a successful probation period) payable upon completion of 6 months continuous service!
